Add Social Share Buttons To Your Website Or Blog

Now You Can Add Many Social Share Buttons To Your Website Or Blog

There are many social platforms out there that are used by a lot of people. It is not all about Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. If you have your own website or blog then you will want to do everything that you can to spread the word about your content. So once again SQZIn is here to help you.

You can now add many social share buttons to your website or blog with SQZIn’s new feature which you can find here. It is really easy to create an array of social buttons that your visitors can use to get the word out about your content.

All of the big platforms are there including Facebook, Twitter, Google +, LinkedIn and Pinterest. But there are more great share buttons that you can place on your sites such as Reddit, Stumbleupon, Amazon, WordPress, and WhatsApp. In fact if you expand the button range on the page you will see that there are 42 buttons for you to choose from!

How to Create your unique Share Button Array

Creating your unique array of share buttons is really easy. All you have to do is decide which social network buttons you wish to include and then select them. As you select each button you will see the button array change on the left-hand side of the screen.

But there is much more than just adding the buttons. There are a number of customization options that you can use to make your buttons look really unique. Below the button choices on the page you will see “Step 2: Customize your button” and from here you can play around with a number of settings until you get the effect that you want.

On the left-hand side are a series of drop-down boxes. The first of these is “background” and here you can choose from a light background or a dark background. You can change the button array attachment too using the “attachment” options. The choices here are “fixed” or “absolute”. We recommend “fixed” as no matter where people are on your page they will see the button array.

The next option is the “position” of your button array. Here there are options to place your social buttons either on the left or the right of your page and the positioning is as follows:

  • Left Top
  • Left Middle
  • Left Bottom
  • Right Top
  • Right Middle
  • Right Bottom

So have a play around with this and decide where the button array looks the best. Finally, there is a “colors” option drop down. What this will do is change the color of the buttons and the font used on them. The options are:

  • Dark background, white font
  • Dark background, white font + color hover
  • White background, dark font
  • White background, dark font + color hover
  • White background, color font
  • Color background, white font

As you make a new selection you will see the changes immediately in the button array to make your decision making easier. There are some very cool combinations here.

On the right-hand side there are a number of on/off switches that control the following:

  • Opacity on non-hover
  • Disable on mobile
  • Out of focus blur
  • Half – hidden
  • Edge radius
  • 1px spacer
  • Shadow

Some of these are self-explanatory. The best way to see what all of these features do is to actually play with them on the page here. You may have to change some of these features if you have a lot of social sharing buttons in your array.

Code for your Website
